PlaneCare’s form structure is informed by public aviation safety reporting patterns, including NASA ASRS and FAA safety reporting guidance.
- NASA ASRS separates reporter identity from the event report and requests event type, occurrence date/time, conditions, aircraft/operator context, location, conflicts, and a narrative.
- FAA’s safety page routes aviation safety issues to ASRS, FAA Hotline, bird strike, laser incident, NTSB accident reporting, and malfunction/defect reporting resources.
